Prior to the advent of the Internet, I had a twenty year career in the New Zealand Army. This included ten years experience in management services, computer systems analysis and EDP audit positions with the Ministry of Defence.

In 1994, an early interest in the Internet led to the development of my own Internet training business, followed by internet  trade research and web site promotion aimed at the needs of New Zealand exporters.

In 2002, I was asked by a Wellington web development company to learn search engine optimisation and become their SEO expert. 

I soon discovered that SEO was such a widely misunderstood topic and that thousands of New Zealand web sites were incorrectly optimised for top search engine positioning. 

Since then I have developed my own SEO services and enjoy helping clients to develop top ranking web pages that generate highly qualified search engine traffic.
